Draft international strategic framework for CSR launched
On 1 March 2004, Stephen Timms, Minister responsible for CSR, announced the publication of a draft strategic framework setting out the Government’s approach to CSR at the international level. The Minister was speaking at the Corporate Responsibility in Practice – “Risks, Liabilities and Corporate Performance” conference organised by the Royal Institute of International Affairs

Deprived communities benefit from good company
Business brains joined forces with the Government today to help revitalise England’s most deprived communities. The Neighbourhood Renewal Private Sector Panel, launched by the Deputy Prime Minister, will advise on ways to encourage business investment in deprived neighbourhoods.
