to adopt a CSR strategy.
Policy & legislation
This section presents key UK government
and international policies and legislation, which set the
framework to stimulate CSR performance.
Projects & programmes

that we are involved in across the CSR agenda. It includes
each initiative’s objectives, the supporting Government
department, progress so far, support, key contacts, and a
link to any related website(s).
Initiatives are divided in UK national
initiatives, Northern Ireland initiatives, Scottish initiatives,
Welsh initiatives and Regional initiatives.
You can search for UK initiatives by:

out more about the Government departments involved in CSR
and the initiatives they are involved in

Our practice
This section sets out the Government’s
own approach to CSR values and how it fits within its wider
responsibility for sustainable development in the UK.

connecting users to information on CSR best practice.
